DAY 1
Departing from SE suburbs & Traralgon at 9am we drive directly to Cape Woolamai to stretch our legs, check out the beach and, (If we’re feeling up to it!) a 1-hour hike to the Pinnacle lookout.
Some sun and stunning sights then we stop for lunch at the Rusty water brewery before heading to our accommodation for the night at the Northern Pier Hotel to settle in.
In the evening we take a trip to the world-famous Nobbies Antarctic Centre and Penguin Parade. Afterward returning home for dinner at our hotel before exploring the nightlife or enjoying the hotel.
DAY 2:
Wake up earlier to walk or run with Ben along the beach 7:30am or sleep in and enjoy the hotel until 9am when we meet for a shared Breakfast and checkout.
After check out we travel to Churchill island to explore some of the original farm cottages which still stand and its restored homesteads and a variety of farm animals — geese, horses, cattle, sheep, etc.
Last-stop before lunch is the Koala conservation centre where we’ll take one of the two tree-top boardwalks which allow us to come up close with the Koalas.
For a late lunch, we head to San Remo fish and chip lunch on our way back home and our final good-byes.
