Cost: Billed at NDIS rates, 2 days respite 1:3 or as requested.
Who: For individuals looking for supported small-group travel opportunities to build independence, confidence, and lasting relationships with like-minded young people.
Available to low-support-needs, young adults (aged 18-36) based in Gippsland or Melbourne. Arrange a call with us to see if this trip is a good match for you!Where: Staying nearby the entrance to Wilson’s Prom Saturday night. Transport departing from SE suburbs through Gippsland starting at 9 am Saturday, March 18, 2023. Pick-up from other areas is negotiable.
When: 9 am, March 18- 5 pm, March 19
Physical ability: We have some hikes planned and a boat cruise (Check the itinerary) and a 4-hour trip by car, with stops on the way.

We will be staying in twin-share accommodation (2 people per room).

WHAT'S INCLUDED: Twin-shared accommodation, meals (lunch & dinner Saturday, Breakfast, and Lunch Sunday), drinking water, qualified experienced staff, Entry to all tourist sites, and all program transportation is included in 2 private cars.WHAT’S EXCLUDED: The price does not include alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, and any optional travel insurance.
WHAT TO PACK: All clothes and personal care items for 2 days, comfortable clothes, and shoes for hiking. It may be chilly, but bring swimwear if you’re up for a swim!
Itinerary
DAY 1
Departing from Melbourne SE suburbs and Gippsland at 9 am with pickups along the way, we drive directly through to Fish Creek for morning tea, introductions, and program orientation.
After morning tea, we’ll continue on to check-in to our accommodation then continue on for a fish and chips lunch on the beach at Normans Bay.
The afternoon sees us exploring some hiking trails around the prom In the evening we’ll head out on the town for some dinner and maybe some fishing or stargazing.
DAY 2:
Wake up earlier to walk or run with Ben at 7:30 am or sleep in and relax until 8:30 am when we meet for a shared Breakfast and check out.
After check-out, we take a guided boat tour around the prom to see this marine national park, with seabird colonies, fur seals, leatherback turtles and visiting whales.
After lunch by the sea, we begin to head home with a stop for coffee and goodbyes along the way.
